Domestic Waste Collection

SICA has his own truck fleet to carry out the following domestic waste collection in member towns and villages.

◦ Residual waste

◦Organic waste

◦Paper / cardboard

◦Glass

◦Bulky waste

◦Scrap metal

◦Refrigeration equipment

◦Electrical appliances

◦Tree cuttings

◦Old clothing and shoes

Please note!

Alternative collection dates for public holidays, can be found in the SICA calendar which is distributed free to every household in our member towns and villages at the beginning of the year. Copies can also be obtained directly from SICA or your local authority.

For all domestic collections, any waste and any material to be recycled must be placed at the side of the road by 6am and be clearly visible. You must ensure that roads and pavements are not blocked and that our collection teams can easily access the bins and anything else that is to be removed.

Waste and recycling bins must not under any circumstances be filled to overflowing. It must be possible to easily close all lids!

SICA reserves the right to refuse to remove any waste or recycling bins that are overfilled. Any non-compliant green bags or containers will also be refused. Likewise, any bulky material or scrap metal waste containing unauthorised items will not be removed.
