Composting station

The recirculation of the organic waste collected through the green bin takes place at the composting station in Mamer, where this organic waste is converted into useful compost.

The residents of the member communes can retrieve small quantities of compost at the recycling centre in Kehlen (for free). 

Larger quantities (trailer) can be retrieved at the composting station in Mamer.

The compost is handed out for free to all residents of our 8 member communes: Bertrange, Garnich, Kehlen, Koerich, Kopstal, Mamer, Habscht (only residents of Simmern, Roodt, Greisch) and Steinfort.
